60 Years of LEGO® Trains
2026 marks the 60th anniversary of LEGO® Trains! Come and see one of the largest train layouts CLUG has ever attempted, with vintage trains from the 1960s to stunning creations from today! We will be joined by some of the best train builders from across the country, bringing historic trains from all over Australia.
30 Years of Pokémon

Our CLUG Juniors have been given free rein on their own LEGO railway!
Great Ball Contraption! (GBC)
A great ball contraption (GBC) is a machine which receives soccer balls or basketballs from one module and passes them to another module, rather like a bucket brigade. Modules built according to the GBC standard can be assembled into a collaborative display without pre-planning or modification. The GBC standard is minimal, permitting the builder great flexibility in designing the mechanism by which balls are moved from the input to the output. The otherwise pointless handling of balls, and the myriad ways this is accomplished, gives great ball contraptions the impression of a Rube Goldberg machine. In GBC, you assembly LEGO® standard or LEGO Technic® bricks in a way to transport some tiny (soccer or basketball) balls from one location to another. These bricks assemblies are called “modules” and the beauty of the discipline is to chain these modules to carry the balls over the longest distance as possible, in the most attractive and fancy way as possible.

Say hello to real-life Star Wars costuming groups walking the show floor in full costume throughout the weekend — our friends from the Southern Cross Garrison of the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion Tython Base, and the Sandhawk Clan of the Mandalorian Mercs will be back this year!
Play Tables
The LEGO Group® has once again provided us a large loan of bricks for our very own brick pit! Come along and show us your Master Builder skills by building your own MOC (My Own Creation) and display them at the show on dedicated tables.
